“MANOSE” Museum

Almost 40 years of experiences on drug and herb researches, Prof. Dr. Jiradej and Prof. Dr. Aranya Manosroi on behalf of Manose Health and Beauty Research Center have an idea and plan to set up the “MANOSE” museum atDonpao, Maewang in Chiang Mai (30 km. from city of Chiang Mai) in the area of 160,000 square meters. It will be the first museum in Thailand which collects and keeps the pharmacy, medicinal and science apparatus and preserves the folklore wisdom for health and beauty, and also will be the knowledge centre for keeping the traditional recipes and herbal recipes. Moreover, this museum will show the history of teaching and profession of pharmacy as well as health and beauty, display the apparatus and instruments for invention, doing research and development and the production of drugs, food supplements and cosmetics. It will also be the place for exhibiting the herbal knowledge and botanical garden. It will have the health and beauty treatment area, especially the anti-aging center from the Lanna wisdom. Thus, the “MANOSE” museum will be the knowledge centre for students, scholar and public that will certainly become the new tourist attraction site which can make the fame for Thai pharmacy profession, Chiang Mai province and Thailand.
