Transdermal Testing of Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics
Dr. Charinya Chankhampan, Research & Development Director / Head of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Division together with the researchers of Manose Health and Beauty Research Center have operated and anylysed the testing service of skin penetration and release of the key compound from the extracts and products containing the extracts through rat skin using Franz diffusion cells for the research and development of extracts and cosmeceuticals or drugs containing the extracts at Manose Health and Beauty Research Center, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
On 23rd May 2023, during 8.30 – 17.00 PM, Dr. Charinya Chankhampan, Research & Development Director / Head of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Division together with the Manose’s researchers (Ms.Supaporn Namayom, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Mr.Keerati Apiwong, Pharmaceutical Technology Division and Mr.Pisit Chainonthee, Head of Product and Extract Production) have operated and anylysed the testing service of skin penetration and release of the active substances from the extracts and products containing the extracts through rat skin using Franz diffusion cells. This technique is an official and important tool which is most widely used for the research and delvelopment of cosmeceuticals and topical drugs containing the extracts.
