“MANOSE” Herbal Garden

Thailand which is in the southeast Asian region has the abundant biological diversity with rich herbal plants as seen in many Thai recipes which contain several diverse medicinal plants. However, as the social and environment are changing, some herbal plants are getting rare, distinct, endanger or unknown. Prof. Dr. Jiradej Manosroi and his team on behalf of the Manose Health and Beauty Research Center have an idea to set up the “MANOSE” herbal garden to collect various herbal plants appearing in the recipes. This herbal garden appears to be the vital or life museum which exhibits the herbal plants that can be really used. Moreover, it will be the knowledge centre for students, scholar and public that will become the new tourist attraction area for sightseeing and relaxation of Chiang Mai and Thailand.
