On December 22, 2021, Professor  Dr. Jiradej  Manosroi (CEO) and Professor Dr. Aranya Manosroi (MD), the executives of Manose Health and Beauty Research Center, Chiang Mai have recieved the best national herbal dietary supplement award, “The Year 2021 Prime Minister Herbal Awards (PMHA)” from Gen. Prayut  Chan-O-Cha, Prime minister and Minister of Defense for the Herbal Food Supplement “Lypose” which is a research – based product by Manose. The award was presented in the 18th National Herbal Expo and the Annual Meeting of the Thai Traditional Medicines, the Folk Medicines and the Alternative Medicines on the theme “Cannabis Leads Thai, Thai Herb Leads the Nation” during 22-26 December 2021, at the 5th Floor, Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon Department Store, Pathum Wan District, Bangkok.

“Lypose” contains mixed plant extracts which are White Kidney Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), Galangal (Alpinia galanga (L.) Willd.) and  Guava (Psidium guajava L.) powder. The mixed extract in “Lypose” were selected from the Thai medicinal plant recipes from the “Manosroi III” database which have 3 mechanisms of action (3 in 1) including one mechanism in the reduction of lipid absorption by lipase inhibition and two mechanisms in the reduction of sugar absorption from carbohydrate digestion by α-glucosidase and amylase inhibition. This mixed extract interacts directly with the intake foods in the gut without absorption into the blood circulation which will have no side effect. The potency of “Lypose” is higher than the standard weight control and blood sugar lowering drugs (Orlistat and Acarbose). “Lypose” can be used without dieting with no side effect, such as flatulence. In human performance study, “Lypose” can reduce the body weight of human volunteers of  2 – 5 kg within 2 months which is in the normal standard criteria of rejimen the weight loss rejimen of 1.80-3 Kg per month.
